All the miniatures are painted loyal to the traditional watercolor technique with the paper as the only white and the water as the only light – all with brush.
I paint my tinies in the following sizes: 23 mm in diameter (as a 1€-coin) and 4×4 cm, and I also make diptychs and triptychs from the square one.
I use fine-grained paper measuring 13.3×13.5 cm with deckled edge.
