AAF Art Fair in Berlin: 16 – 19 April
After an amazing week at the Affordable Art Fair in Brussels, with a lot of beautiful meetings, reactions and interactions, I’ll now prepair – full time – tinies foer next exhibition in Berlin.
… and after Berlin I’m heading to Vienna!
Thousand and One Cranes – now this year’s “Crane of Cranes” is finished and there are really 1.000 small cranes making 1 big.
The story behind this artwork is as follows:
So many people, young and old, feel a hopelessness about the future and they say “It doesn’t matter what I do… a drop in the ocean…”
…but without drops there will be no ocean!
Every little act matters, every little grain of sand, every little smile,…
…and every crane matters. Together.
“Every Tiny I paint is a love letter to Nature. A way to hold on to something that is in constant change, so perfect and magical, vital but also so fragile that it needs each of us to care. I create a small peephole to the beauty that surrounds us with the hope of drawing attention to the small details that make Life so big.”
All watercolor paintings are painted loyal to the traditional technique with the paper as the only white and the water as the only light – all with brush.
